Hi Snowboy, Squidoo do allow affiliate links. If you've got an account with Clickbank, Commission Junction, LinkShare etc. you can add your affiliate links to a Squidoo lens. See this example where Clickbank affiliate links have been added to a Squidoo lens using hyperlinks - squidoo.com/squidooebooks
What do you think is better Squidoo or Hubpages? And which one ranks better in Google. I've heard that Squidoo was ranking good but then I heard that Google just dropped Squidoo.
They're both excellent. Many people use both which is great so long as you don't duplicate content. You can make a lens and a hub about the same topic - just write one from a different slant because this goes down better with search engines. Squidoo did suffer Google 'slap' after a massive attack by spammers but things have picked up again. Squidoo did a fantastic job of cleaning things up, making it difficult for smammers and getting tough with them by locking lenses and deleting accounts (along with a lot of other measures that I won't go into here). According to Compete, Squidoo was the 14th fastest-growing website in the world between December 2006 and December 2007 (see blog.compete.com/2008/01/17/2006-vs-2007-top-moving-sites/) If you create a niche lens with original content, good tags and quality backlinks you will get plenty of search engine traffic, including Google.
