Just like for an instance, one of the statistics I can view is the % of times I played a certain hand. However, most good players do not play every hand, but just instead select which hands to play based on certain things like position, pre-flop card strength and other players actions or moves. There is also a stat that shows the % of times I played a hand, by which there's no specific way of determining if I am still on the right track. Any advice with regards to key statistics I should be monitoring and reviewing? And what the key statistic is? For an instance, monitoring number of hands played by which should be around 18%. Thanks! Matthew Tipping the Dealers in Holdem Cash Games and Tournaments Something about tipping the dealers in holdem cash games and tournaments has been bothering my mind. I typically tip a dollar to 3 dollars on pots in 1/3 2/5 cash games and tip 10 dollars if the pot is over 500. But somebody I personally know said there was a book saying that players should only tip 1-2 dollars to keep money flow in control. Do you think tip of 1-2 dollars workable for any size pot? I'm also wondering if what is customary for tipping in tournaments. How about if you chop with 4 players? And of the people who do finish in the money, who will tip? How about re-buy tournaments? Any advice, answer or feedback will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! Hanz Card Trends To be honest with you, I am new to poker. I am a neophyte in terms of skills and strategies. I've started playing just months ago, so I believe this is understandable. I have so many questions in mind as a neophyte or as a beginner and one of them is actually about folding beer hands. Why is it whenever I fold beer hands I would've made trips on the flop or a two pair? At first, I thought I'm playing good poker by folding under large bets but whenever I do, things are just moving against me and that really frustrates me. Do you think it could have been better if I just play my regular game? Any suggestion please. Thanks in advance! Joseph Ryan
