i just redesign my site 2 days ago for some reason the new design doesn't feel right if someone can give me some advice or anything i would be really happy. i'm not trying to get traffic just some honest web designing advice. the new home page looks like this http://yetifreestuff.com/home_page.html thank you
First impressions are: - The overall layout is good and works well. - Color choices seem odd, not sure what it exactly is but my eyes have a hard time focusing - Pick a different font for you headings that is smoother (home, games, movies, New Games, Movies, etc) - Smoother font for the text below the movie section as well, seems jagged and hard to read - ads are well blended so good work on that Small things but thats just my opinion. Since you asked... I would highly recommend using a lighter background, or larger fonts. The black background makes it difficult to read the small fonts on all the links. I would go with a white or light gray background, or increase font size. Also, there is so much info packed into the web page, it looks crowded. Don't be afraid to space things out a bit and making the page length bigger. Best of luck with your site! Stacey Stanley
The only thing I can add that the other guys didn't..Is i would suggest making your table all line up...Your strategy games tables are narrower then the ones above and it looks out of place... If you just event them up I think it will look a lot better.
