What makes your site different from TV Links? If you don't know what, figure it out or add in on.. you'll need to be unique to complete with such sites in similar niches as yours.

    Hi, dopiitv,

Before you get discouraged by your results, think it very carefully over - have you really informed your target audience your site does exist? If you are to write them what, just as 8everything pointed out - what makes you better than your rivals, do you have enough powerful content to attract your visitors? What else? Do you work on your link exchange?

    Good luck!

I think your site user interface & navigation could use some re-work. At the moment it takes several clicks for me to get to for example to a specific southpark show.

At the moment your site navigation is like a directory. How about checking what youtube.com for example does? It has "popular videos", it has "quicklists" etc. It has videos that you can play right away when you visit the site. When I came to your site, I had to click like 5-6 times and scroll now and then to get where I wanted.

By improving site usability and perhaps adding "user reviews" (or similar) you can attract more people. Perhaps the bit dull white background could be changed to look more "show"-like.

    ---

Regarding marketing: without knowing what you have done you could use press releases, getting featured at techcrunch (perhaps), fark.com... arrange a contest etc.

Horses for courses. These things are actually what I liked about the site. When I visit these types of sites, I'm usually looking for something specific. Proper categorisation and easily accessible listings are quite a plus for me. YouTube is different because people also go there to watch random videos.. (i.e. browse). Their primary purpose isn't to host those pirated 24/Lost/DesperateWhatever episodes.

As to the 'dull white'.. again, simplicity is a plus. I hate cluttered sites. I hate flashy sites. Just give me the content in an easy to access way, thanks.

Your user experience is your biggest problem. Nothing upfront annd too many clicks to get to anything.

Also, putting other sites in frames is a no no and could get you some legal troubles.

Absolutely true. Just find the thing that makes you special and different than the others. If you cannot do that, just think of features that could make you different if you add them.

I tried the site, and none of the links seem to work. IS anyone else having this problem?

Also, why not try a press release?

Press releases really work. That is definitely the way to go.
