You could hire a copywriter or trade SEO tasks for copywriting if you've got the time but not the money.

I am looking for ways to improve my skills for writing articles and search engine optimization.

You should just hire someone.. If someone like me can correct your writing you need help.

You should consider outsourcing your work on such sites as elance.com. I also think that copyblogger.com is a good resource.

I have found this great way to write articles.
    Its called PEC

    Point
    Example
    Comment

Think of a statement that you wish to prove. Densify this. This will become your article title.
Turn your article title into a sentence. Think of at least three reasons to back this up. This should form your first paragraph, consisting of: what you want to prove and how you're going to prove it.
Here's where PEC comes into play. Turn the first point in your list (from your first paragraph) into a sentence. Now give an example of this point. Comment on it.
Repeat Step 3 for all of the points that you listed in your first paragraph.
Summarize your points together. Comment again. This is your conclusion.

    ;) hope that helps

First before you try to gain writing skills you need to learn proper grammar.

SEO skills are actually pretty simple to learn.

In the meantime may I suggest hiring a freelancer article writer. You can find them pretty affordable right here on DP. The thing to do is make sure they can actually write. Get a sample on the topic your looking for, not just any topic. A good writer will be willing to write a small sample on your keyword (niche) for you. Just to prove they can do the job.

    Hi,

Learning SEO is very helpful and easy. There is lots of free info about it online that you can also research.

The Basic Seo Tips You Should Know:

    - When you are dealing with keywords use them within the title tag
    - Use a variety of title tags on your pages
    - Save money, submit things yourself
    - Stay away from doorway pages
    - Be selective with your description, don't make it look spammy

There are a lot of helpful dummy books with SEO if you don't want to look for free info online.

    Good luck,
    Kari

Don't write unless you REALLY want to. To quote The Teenage Liberation Handbook, "Why chatter on paper just to chatter on paper?"
