Need some tips

Hi, I am new to this board and need some tips on how to generate traffic for my new website. I just signed up for adsence a couple days ago and am hoping to make a couple bucks on the side with this site. Any tips would be appreciated.

Also, does the fact that I built my site using CMSMS make it harder for Google to crawl my site or detect keywords? I'd link to my site but I think it's against the TOS, let me know if I can so I can get some suggestions. Thanks

 

I love how the Google Ads on this page (top right) are limited to two text links and change colors ewverytime. How does DP do that?

(Question to anyone that knows....)

 

Its done with JavaScript. If you look at the source a .js library is loaded right after the ad. The JS just changes the CSS values.

Traffic really isn't that difficult, it just takes a little time.

Here are some steps to help you begin.

1/ Stumble your site (stumbleupon.com)

2/ Create accounts with Google, Yahoo, MSN & Netscape and "add content"
to your page (your url or rss feed).

3/ Bookmark your site with Onlywire (onlywire.com)

4/ If it is a blog, use Pingoat (pingoat.com)

5/ Open an account under another name and tag with Tagenie (tagenie.com)

6/ Submit original articles to Ezine Articles, one per day for 30 days (ezinearticles.com). This will create some great one way back links.

There's more, but this alone should get you 1,000 to 1,500 unique visitors
to your site the first month, maybe better.
