Need some tips.

    I'm currently in the middle of making a layout for someone and I need some tips of what to add, and how the banner should be ect. Thanks for your tips, this layout should hopfully be another step to making some money to fix my PC :p

    OK. The first thing I would start with is some text. There's a great little utility device available for like $20 at most computer stores called a keyboard. There's a button on them for each letter and number, and when you push the buttons words appear in the design. :p

    Its not done yet NevetS :p. Thats only the image editing results (Semi results I need to add more color ect)

    OK, lose that BG...

    Make it lighter...

    Go easy on bevel and emboss...

    Thin the container border...

    Make it sit center screen...

    Easy with the lighting effects....


    That's all I can think of right now. :)

    I agree, lose the background. Go with a solid color.

    If you go with a lighter background you could have raised areas shadow onto the lighter background.
