Need some tips

    Hi everyone

I have a weddings site (www.groompower.com) and I need some tips on improving my Adsense performance. At the moment I am only earning a few cents a day. I could move some of the ads to more prominent positions but I don't want to overwhelm the site too much with advertising. Would I do better with different sized ads? For example I have a lot of 250x250 ads at the moment - would a different size be better? How can I make the ads which appear more targeted to my audience? Any tips very gratefully received.

    Thanks

First of all, I think the placement of your ad is extremely good already! When opening the website, the ad unit was the first thing I noticed so job well done in this area.

As for earning more, you need traffic - as simple as that. Once you get more visitors to your site your ads will be clicked on more often and your earnings will increase.

With regards to making your ads more relevant, the only way to do this is to add some keyworded content on your website. I've noticed that the main page of your site doesn't have much content and further to that, the menu items are images, not text - which is the very reason the ads aren't as targeted as you'd like them to be.
Try redesigning the site so that the menu text would be text, not images and consider adding some additional content on the main page - such as a few sentences in the footer etc.

I hope it helps and that you'll be earning a lot more soon! :)

Your ad placement on home page is very well. It can be improved in individual pages. I would suggest you try a 468*60 ad block right below the title of your posts. This would not take lot of space, and generally gets good CTR.
