I have spent some time optimizing my site hostfever.com for "affordable web hosting" and "affordable shared web hosting"... Can you guys give me some tips to increase my rankings, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

 

I can't get to it, well I could but it's showing "hostfever.com uses an invalid security certificate." so my firefox & msn are blocking it. That can't help, I'd get that fixed first...

Yeah, that fixed it. You just need more quality inbound links. Site looks good. I'd put a 301 redirect in the .httacess
to site with www or no www one way or another, that could cause a dupe content problem.

 

how about going for link building service and directory submissions ?

Build more links and create content rich in keyword but doesn't lessen the value of information on your content.

 

You required lot of work if you wanna see your site on top.

There are plenty of exercise which help you a lot. yes first most important thing that use unique content on your site.

Directory and Rss submission does help.
Bloging also help you.
Use social book marking sites.
do commenting and foruming.
Link building through your contact.

above will help you a lot.

 

Your website is perfectly design only some On-page optimization and Off-page optimization activities need to be perform. Like Meta tag optimization, Content optimization, Link building etc.

There is nothing much special on SEO, only the way of doing SEO and managing the work flow matters.
