Well the title tells it all. been bit into these video sharing sites. But i dont really get how should i promote them and get people join. i have submitted few videos to youtube and few other videosite , created hubpage. submitting for backlinks all ideas are welcome thank you in advance
Keep doing that kind of stuff. Are you branding your videos with links? Making use of the description area? Using comments and stuff to your advantage? Also, I'm learning that no one will ever fully get anywhere totally alone - maybe think about making a team that co-diggs each others work etc. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time something like that was done, I'm sure. ^^
thnx well i put my website url to description and little info and made start and end text with movie maker. maybe should DL some better editor wich1 would allow embed site logo to video. do you mean that i should comment on other people videos? also i think i would check related forums and make few posts of site. thnx for tips contest would be cool idea too. maybe some midrange priced Gear or Gift cards for prices. So people can buy what they really need just need find some good shop which ships internationally. I think email marketing wont work with this since my videosite is about martial arts so i think that most of them are not really into this internet marketing stuff ty all
Because of tough competition of video sharing site, I would suggest you to narrow down your niche, go vertical, target specific demography/trends & culture.
I would say keep doing what you're doing, but you should definately get your videos watermarked: there are a lot of thieves on the internet who will put your video on their website. You need to keep the website updated with new videos as often as possible, and buying links or blog posts from martial arts will do wonders for your site.
watermarks sound nice, only broplem is that the script does not use them even when you Download video from website. but for marketing with other websites it would be good idea tho. Mostly ill only post part of the video so people might want to see the rest
I mean put your URL on a stamp in the bottom corner the whole way through the video. This way people will see your video, and be able to watch the whole video without distraction, but at the same time they'll see your website, and if someone does steal the vid, they'll have your url on the vid, so it's effectively free advertising
