    Google adwords is one of the best, You can look into yahoo also and maybe adbrite. If you would tell what kind of site it is which u want to advertise maybe others can help :)

    adwords is useful. I've tried before and it really directs target traffic. I suggested use the adwords for search and not the one which is shown in the other sites.
