I've been doing a re-design of my wallpaper site's template. It's been a long time coming, but I got rid of all that tables (at least for the most part) and the pages should be loading quite a bit faster. I need some thorough testing though, before I make it available on the main site. So especially if you have any browsers other than IE & Firefox, please give it a spin and let me know what you think, or if you find any bugs. The "Home, Links, Articles, Copyright" links are not working currently. Test server PS. Some strange ad, might float over the screen at times, but that's the price for having a test server on a free server. Any comments much appreciated.
IE 6 1024x768, looking good. No problemo's. Firefox 1024x768, tables are messed up. I believe you should use a fixed table size to fix this. The topbanner is okay but content wallpapers is too wide. May I suggest using a very light grey background. IMO this will make the website more sparkling and people focus instantly on the content. Btw very nice wallpapers! Good luck with your website.
On Opera for Mac, I got: Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /usr/export/www/hosting/finalfrontier/cpg1.3.1/themes/spacewallpaper/theme.php on line 147
I think I just fixed the problems. At least I hope so. While I get some sleep, please check it out. Hopefully you'll confirm my biggest hope.
Wonderful! That was one heck of a struggle. Damn browsers not handling CSS the same way. If I fixed it in one, it messed it up in another one. Very frustrating!
Well, the changes have now been made to my main site. http://www.spacewallpapers.net Hopefully it keeps working fine.
That could have been due to high traffic, or some server backups running. Seems do be doing fine for me.
