Need some suggestions

    Just setting up a new hosting forum and i need some suggestions on catagores. I don't want to go overboard obviously, but i think i need a few more.

    Ideas?

    Seems to me like you have your bases covered. I don't think its a good idea to dilute the forum too much before you have the traffic for it.

    It looks good as is. You don't want/need 60 mostly empty categories. If you find that you need more you can add them later.

    when is the best time to implement a forum on a site?

    A. After the site already has become popular with hunreds or at least 1 thousand unique visitors a day?

    or

    B. Right from the start and try to see it become popular over time?

    ...unless you know some really good posters who will start and keep things running until it gets built up.
