So I'm going to buy a car subwoofer but I can't decide what I should get. The one I have in my mind right now is Kicker S15 L7, 1000 RMS, 2000 Watt total. I can grab one of these for $200 on eBay which I believe is a good price for this piece. I'm not very knowledgeable about subs so if you have any suggestions for the $0-350 price range, I'd love to hear them. I have an Audio System F2 500 amplifier by the way, it supports up to 1200 RMS.

Im no car audio expert but i know abit about the brands from my interest in cars.

Kicker and MTX are loud but Kicker is a bit low end so i would avoid it personally but depends if you just want a loud system to show off or a quality sound system.

You guys have 'Alpine' in the US - thats what i used to use & i was very happy. More expensive but was worth it!
Rockford Fosgate is another top audio brand, JL audio are well respected while pinoneer are ok too. Generally u get what u paid for interms of quality and longetivity.

Suggest u Just look at mod/import car magazines or their forums and see what others are using as they love their cars and know whats good at the moment. Sometimes they review systems and rate what it the best value too?

sorry i could not be more detailed about specs, good luck
