Only if you have millions of visitors can your website make some revenue. News websites are very bad to monetize. Am talking from experience. My suggestion will be to change the niche and let CNN to make its job
big dreams are good and admirable. even CNN started at some point. if you want to earn from news maybe you could fist join an already established media center. learn from them, improve your skills, establish yourself, let people see your abilities and provide quality. after this you will have an idea on where to start. your talents may sell you. people will notice you and invest in you. then, you can start your website with a name.
