So, while I've been trying to build up Cruinne with a friend of mine, we've come to a few problems. My hours have been cut at my real job, and I'm coming to a point where I don't have the money to continue developing this site is pretty much the main one. So we're considering selling the site, but aren't sure yet. For one, we're trying to value the site. We've put quite a bit of work and money into the site, and know we will take a financial hit in the long run, but are hoping to sell it for a decent price. It's less than a year old. pageviews/month:75,775 monthly total revenue: $150avg PR:1 uniques/month:5,092 members: 700 posts: 18,523 backlinks: 1510 daily uniques: apx100 Pretty easy to find on google, and also the site has a GREAT amount of potential to start making thousands per month. What would you do? Try to find investors and ride it out, or try selling the site for maybe a minimal profit and reevaluate what we want to do next time and wait till finances are better? Any advice would be beyond welcome. www.cruinne.com
anyone? I'm really looking for some sound advice. It's also a site, that if acquired by the right person, would be making tons of money.
I would recommend you and your partner decide exaclty what you want for the site. Of course it's brilliant if you can really advertise it before you sell it, this will give you a higher earning for the last month, meaning you could sell it for more.
How do you get the value of $750? I would have figured it would be more, being as we've got 1 year licence for IPB and RPG Inferno, almost 1k images for the avatars, custom avatar, trade, and shop system that was programmed for the site which total itself is worth apx $700.
