hi guys i need some advice on my site ive placed adbrite ads and adsense etc the traffic on my site is amazing here are some stats the traffic rank on alexa is as follows Latestmedia.net has a traffic rank of: 703,393 registration stats are with all these registrations there are only a few people who post most of them have zero posts the most viewed threads ive made it so they have to have minimum 5 posts before they can see the contents but is there anyother way i can get people to post more im not worried about traffic i just want people to post more??
Forums are difficult to get started. The old saying "Nothing draws a crowd like a crowd" could not be more true than with forums. Create a few accounts yourself and start posting under a few names. Attract others to start posting. Not allowing people to see content is not a great idea. They want to see what’s on the site and don’t want to work to see it. Take that off and they may start to post on the popular topics~
I would not beg for donations until you have some activity. Turns me off real quick. Private? You are making it difficult for people to WANT to post....make it easy...
once registered you can see everything and look how many are registering for example ive had over 30 people register today but not 1 post off them not even a hello...lol
I'll bet you could hire a few people to post, along with starting multiple accts for yourself to get the ball rolling a little bit.
