    Hey guys/gals

    I have a car business and we see that PPC has the option to target certain areas so my question is: is there a way to find out if there is enough searches for said KW in this given area????

    tanks in advance;

    Yes, Google Adwords keyword tool will help you find out the searches for the keyword in a particular area.
    1. Go to Google adwords keyword suggestion tool.
    2. Type the keyword in the search box available
    3. From the advanced options, choose the area you want to target and search.
    4. It will return with keyword and its variations with global(entire world) monthly and local(area you specified) monthly searches.
    5. You can also download the keywords list and it will give you the keywords with their local search volume for the last 12 months.

    All the best for your new campaign.

    If your business is more local based, it is a great strategy to make a new campaign for each area. As the CPC cost could vary a lot by population / competition of the specific area. If you could spend more time setting up different CPC for different "zones" it will benefit you a lot in the long run. Specially with conversion / goal tracking tool provided by Google Adwords / Analytics

    Nothing is a sure bet in PPC until you try it. The only way to be sure if something is going to work is collect data and find out. Run a few local ads, start by spending 20 bucks a day, and see what comes of it! If there aren't enough searches, it's not like you are going to spend money on it, people have to click for you to be charged.

    ^x2.

    Use Google keywords tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) and type in your main keyword/which you think people type.

    Google will suggest some other keywords too. You can then arrange the results according to relevance, highest searches (local), highest searches (global) etc..

    I would also make sure when using the google keyword tool that you select 'exact match' instead of 'broad match' to get a truthfully better idea of local search volume
