What type of application is being used to operate a service like this http://www.cellahouse.net/default.aspx . I would really like to be able to offer this in my area. Can anyone here provide me an application to make this happen. Budget is limited, but if $200-250 range or thereabouts will get the project done pm me with details and requirements.
subscribing to this thread, perhaps one of the cooler sites I've seen in a while ... should be easy enough as there are tons of libraries for sending text messages. I couldnt' get the offer to come through to my phone so I could take a look at the finished product. Willing to help in the coding if someone else wanted to try and take on a clone of this site.
That is indeed a really cool idea. I'll look into the libraries out there for text messaging (receive/send), and let you know, vwillis. If there is some substantial code around for that end of things, I may be able to help.
Not sure what you mean by the "type" of application? It is an estate agency website that is linking up to an SMS/ MMS web service to deal with the sending and receiving of text messages.
