I am looking for some general quotes on the design of a mall like website. I can't give much specificity so I'm not expecting anyone to be able to give me an exact price, I'm just looking for an approximation. The web mall should have an easy to navigate front page with a panoramic large image meant to display particular products "on special" or stuff like that. It should be a flash image that cycles through at least four or five items displaying price information, a picture and details like that. The ability to customize the layout of the mall's home page (and other pages if possible) should be included as well. I would like to see the mall's home page have at least four columns to display merchandise categories that can be further broken down. I could describe it as follows. The panoramic picture to cycle through featured products is under the company logo and on the left hand side taking up about two thirds of the page. To the right of the flash image is a home and garden category column that displays two or three products with basic price point information. On the top of the category, a few tabs can be found such as "garden" "home decor" "Appliances" and "more" or something like that. Basically a column for the category and tabs that can further break it down bringing the user to a page dedicated to home and garden. Below the flash image and the first column are three more columns for other categories. So basically a customizable and easily updated e-commerce website. It needs to look clean and it needs to be easily navigated. I would also like a search function built in. I guess I'm looking for an amazon.com type of website but I want it to look cleaner than amazon. More high tech and flashy. Can anyone help me out with this? Cheers
