If you have web hosting with Cpanel ,, it is just click and install " you use fantastico to install " What kind of forum do you want ? .. have you paid for VB or going with a free php script ?
If you are not even willing to give it a shot yourself, then you're not ready to start up a new forum. Admins should have a basic skillset before they start, and a well conceived plan in mind. Most forums fail and go nowhere because the admin woke up one morning and said, "I am going to make an online forum!" What you need: - Basic understanding of how the web works - Leadership skills - Ability to follow directions from the software vendors - Basic programing skills - Understanding of relational databases Unless you are willing to hire someone to do tech work for you full time, you will need all of those. It may seem like a lot now, but if you want to be successful, you will put in some more time to adequately prepare yourself for the journey ahead.
