Need Some more SEO tips

hello Everyone..,,,

When i uploaded my site to server and added its url to google and other Search engines i have not optimized my site because i dont no That SEO is important for a site to live. Now i have optimized it from all my knowledge of SEO i have taken following steps...
1) Use Targeted keywords in <p><title><pre><h1><h2<h3><tr><th><td> tags also provided Alt attribute as much optimized as possible..
2) Added my URL to Ask,Bing,Alta Vista,Entire WEb,Guruji,Google and some other some search engines.
3) Get a few back links probably 4 or 5
4) Try to make site navigation easier as possible

Now my Question is Will Google automatically detect this optimization or i have to do somthing I am using google webmaster and analytics.

Any more SEO tips Are Welcomed Plzz Share with me i am new actually very new in SEO field

 

make a sitemap and submit it in google webmaster tools for better crawling
