Need Some Information on 'Reversed' Witdrawal

Okay! I guess I've been hit by PayPal for the very first time. So, I need some information over this.

I requested for a withdrawal on 26th June and the status changed to 'completed' next day (if I remember correctly) AND today the status has changed to 'reversed' from 'completed'.

Rs250 have been deducted as the fee for a reversed transaction and I've credited with amount in dollars but the credited amount is $75 less than the original dollar amount which I requested for withdrawal. So, any idea how this is done or anything?

By the way, the bank information provided by me is correct. So, who can tell me the reason for the reversal - Bank Or PayPal? I contacted the bank's guy and he said he had no idea about this. Do I need to get loud on him?

Also, one thing that's bugging me is that when I entered the account detail - PayPal showed the info "Account Type - Checking" whereas my account is Savings account.

Please let me know about this if you have any idea..................especially about that $75 less thing.

    Thanks

PS - This is for an Indian PayPal and Bank Account

This is actually weird, you should probably ask the paypal support for the minus $75 (you will get a explaination).

The reason for the transaction not being succesful, could be -

    1. some technical difficulties accessing your account
    2. you can check back on the IFSC code (if that's correct), it keeps regulating!!

You can talk to the EFT department,i if your bank has one and you can refer them to the older clearance made, he might tell you if the Bank Branch received the funds or not, if nor that means you need to check the IFSC code!

No need to get loud on him mate :) he would be as puzzled as you're!

besides, don't worry about the checking thing, I have a Savings account and even I see the same message "checking", so that's normal!!

    My advice -

Consult paypal for the $75 thing
Consult your EFT manager for the IFSC code or other necessary details

Hope you get your funds soon:)
    Cheers

Have you entered bank name, account name,IFSC code properly there at the time of withdrawal  Your bank account name and paypal account name both need to be same (exact match). If everything given by you correct then contact paypal about this through email or phone(for quick solution).

Sounds like somebody did a 'charge-back' and PP took it. I could be wrong, but...
