Need Some Information About Google Sitelinks

hello guys,
I need some information about google sitelinks.
I checked webmaster tools in the morning and google has generated 3 sitelinks of my site.
But when i search on google none of the sitelink shows.
Question1. Why sitelinks are not showing?
Question2. Are these sitelinks count as backlink of google? Like a backlink of a PR10 site?

I Think that will be very hard to find out how really SiteLinks work or its information because Google make it private to avoid people manipulating their ranks, and will be good. Now, the SiteLinks is still secret and google only knows. You can understand wher the links comes from with the idea of the following:

1st. Site age is several years or older
2nd. A high natural and fair search traffic.
3rd. Easily spiderable, structured navigation

now question arises that my site is just 3 month old and i still got sitelinks
isn't this unusual?

 

My take on site links is that they show only when your website is branded for that search term.

For example your website is called "Snow flakes"

You may get site links for the term "snow flakes" because that is the name of your brand. Google presumes that when users search for that term, they are looking for your website.

No, sitelinks, just as any links in SERP, cannot be indexed and taken into account by ranking algorithms.

i just checked them now


BUT another problem arises is that WebMaster Tools now says that "google has not generated any site links for you site"
and sitelinks have gone live now

 

That is temporary, I suppose. They should stay.

 

ya i am agree with you all..google sitelinks are doesn't count in backlinks.

 

the site needs to be 4-6 months old or else it must be very popular in its niche to get sitelinks ... popular links are achtually turned insto sitlinks .....

 

Sadly, it wasn't temporary. SItelinks are gone

 

Do not worry, they will be back eventually, since Google has attempted to make a decision on this already once.
