I'm not the most experienced, but i'll offer my advice. If I had a social networking site like that i'd hit Google and find a lot kid - teen oriented boards an let people know about it and i'd go to some website/coding forums and when someone asks for a particular script to do something, link back to your website.
If you want to get massive traffic to your site, probably you can do some guest blogging in some of the famous blogs. That would get you alot of traffic especially for social networking sites. Perhaps another way to have massive advertising is through the "popular" friends. Find some of the most popular students in many schools, best if they have a blog, and receiving alot of traffic. So what you can do is to hire them secretly to try out your games, and ask them to advertise for you in their blog. Because they are popular, most of their friends would listen to them and join in the fun. this is sort of like creating social proof and allowing the popular person to pull traffic in.
