I have just started a new poker, betting and casino site and I need help.

What is the best way to get traffic? Should I buy traffic? I have looked at seo but in this type of business its very expensive.

How important is social marketing?

Youtube channel?

Social marketing is good. Having a blog is, too.

Insider tip: Offer your traffic something tangible that your competition sites do not.

 

Social media could work if you know your target audience but I hardly see promotions on that niche. So personally I will go for paid traffic cause is more targeted and quick compared to SEO which will require a lot of work not to mention creating keyword rich unique content all the time.

Fail to plan...plan to fail. Sounds like you didn't plan/research this niche enough in the beginning. You're bound to fail if you don't know how to get traffic to your site. Hope you have big pockets because that's a very competitive market, not a niche for a beginner to learn in.

 

Facebook CPA is good for your website. It means pay per action like registration or purchasing.

 

Start a blog and focus on promoting that. The niche you're in is obviously quite saturated which means that it could cost a few dollars per click which is very expensive. Are you running a real casino website where people can bet actual money? If so, your website is considered illegal in the United States and other countries that don't allow online gambling.

 

Try targeting long tail keywords, you will find it much easier to rank them as there is usually not a lot of competition and you could quite easily get on the first page of Google with minimal work. You could also create a squeeze page with a free offer for opting in and direct them straight to your website and put it in the Warrior forum in the WSO or Classified Ads section. Both these methods work well for me.

 

I must really thank you all for helping us out. We have come a bit on the way but there is still much work to be done.

We are searching for someone thats good in joomla. I hope that someone in here are interested in helping us out.

Next week we will start to run our site ourself and none of us owners know joomla. We have 2 options here either we buy this from our network or we get a hold of someone thats good in this.

You could try banner ads on a PPV network like Lead Impact but it might be pricy per impression.

The people who have Pay Per View adware in their PCs generaly get it in exchange for playing games for prizes.
Might be exactly the kind of people you want.

Just curious what do you suppose will be the value of each lead?
