Hi there, To answer your first question...not really, not unless you submit to plenty of free directories, but these directories usually don't generate a lot of traffic. You should purchase some links from the top paid directories, as these usually bring targetted traffic to your site. Like 'Disguised' said, it takes a lot of hard work, and unless you are willing to put hard work into marketing and promoting your website, I'm afraid your website will probably starve from traffic. You could try the free directories, forum posting, cheap link exchanges - although these usually turn out to be a waste of time. It is actually easier to do this properly. If you wish to improve your search ranking/results, then consider implementing SEO into your website.
