    Hi all,

For some reason I'm having a problem with Word and "entering" to the next line. What it's doing is skipping the next line so that there is always a space between lines. It won't even let me use the cursor to click to the next line.

I've searched all the help documents and can't figure out what it is. It's probably an easy fix, but I just can't find it.

    Anyone?

Oh, and I'm on Office Professional 2003.

    Thanks in advance.

    Eric

    Hi Eric,

Could be a format/character spacing issue?

Or maybe you need to try a new document, sounds like it has other 'stuff' going on in there (html, etc.,) - try and copy paste the existing text to notepad, then copy paste that back into word (new document) - this may clear the double spacing.

    Cheers

OK, the new document trick seems to have worked. I think it is happening when I paste something from the web and then try and edit it.

How do I stop that from happening?
