Need some help with Google Search Ranking for my site and competitor

I have site which ranked around 12-16 for this keyword and I am trying to pull upto page 1. I looked at the competitor with iwebtool,

this site has 1 dmoz, 12000 backlinks, pr4, only 2300 pages indexed.

my site, 2 dmoz listed, 30000+ backlinks, pr4, 280,000 paged indexed, still not moving up.

maybe competitor has better quality backlinks but what is the best way to move my site up?

buying more links?

 

You competitor may have better on site SEO, are you making good use of H1 tags etc?

I have some PR2 - PR3 sites that beats some PR4 - PR5 sites due to better seo.

 

Build more links, do more marketing.

well, that's what I am saying, I have more back links, more site indexed. Is there any tools that I could compare with mysite besides iwebtools?

 

Maybe the age of your domain is holding you back ... ...
Thats what I'm seeing in one of the keywords I'm trying to rank on.
