    Hi there,,,

I've had a lot of success with pool.com and snapnames.com but you should sign up with any all backorder services you can find. Most companies are affiliated with different registrars etc and the domain could be caught by anyone. If more then one person is after the domain you could also end up having to bid for it.

Also, so you know, there is a redemption period of like 30 days, then the deletion can be like another 30-45 days after that...

All in all, I'd keep an eye on it to see if it makes it on some of the services above...

The redemption term can be longer than that. I have waited about 6 months for a .uk.com to be released..

As for backordering, you should not ignore the following either. If the domain you're chasing has been registered with GoDaddy, for instance, then use GoDaddy's backorder service as it is likely you will get the domain name.

If the name is a good one, prepare for a good bidding after the domain is caught. I once started with $60, and the domain ended in the $xxxx range...

What was the domain name? I myself have picked a name that was from start valued at over £60,000. Just spotted it in "pending deletion" status and bought it by calling the registry directly after almost one month of domain watch. Still think I've been inspired at that time :)
