Ive had my site online since 1998, never had a problem, but ive been doing a lot of changes to my site over the last 4 months.
About 6 weeks ago i could not find my site in the search results of msn.
When i did a site:www.mysite.com I found my links had dropped from around 5,000 to just 70.
I decided to wait it out and see whay happens.
About a few days ago I started to notice it went up to 90 and beside some of the links are dates:
    8/17/2006 ,
    8/16/2006
Ok, i still cant find my site in a normal search, but does anyone with experience know if the fact that ive had a increase from 70 to 90 indicate something positive?
I also note that in these 90 links, some pages I just updated last week are showing these updates.
Also, what are the meaning of the dates?
Does it appear msn is re-indexing my site?

If you can PM me your site URL, I would assist you better.

It happens sometimes with the MSN Search Cache, or maybe an area where you got most of your backlinks from has been shut down (such as a blog or forum, or maybe a whole server of websites)

What do you mean by a problem with the MSN Search Cache, can you explain this and how I can detect this if it is the problem?
