Well, after spending years promoting other people's e-books, I have finally taken the plunge and written my own. On a side note, the actual writing of the e-book was child's play compared to the technical and marketing work required to even get it somewhat ready for launch. This was definitely a learning experience and my hat is off to those who actually write and market products for themselves. The book is a marketing book and geared toward the network marketing crowd. I have done the research...there are over 5 million networkers out there in the US alone and they all like to spend tons of money reading books and buying lectures. Unfortunately for them, the failure rate in this field is roughly 95%. That makes for one hungry market and my book actually could help them succeed. Now, if this was a book on general money making ideas, I would possibly go the JV route but since it is a marketing book geared toward the network marketing crowd, I am now wondering how in the world I will be able to find JV's who are interested or more importantly, those that would be interested on the traditional JV's list. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can promote this?
Affiliate systems are the best way to go. You could even consider a membership style management script that instantly makes people who buy your e-book members and affiliates.

hmm if its a ebook that tell ppl how to make money.. then best option is make few pages of that book a free report.. make a killer sales letter which gives the free report when people signup.. now promote this free report in credit based safelist.. www.businessworldlist.com http://www.gotsafelist.com/ promote it on traffic exchanges like www.trafficswarm.com/ promote it on 500 forums based on make money or webmaster or your niche now you will have many many peoples emails.. make them interested about your ebook .. and prove them why he she must purchase it.. give them a domain and hosting and some advertising packages for free.. make them greedy for your package you offer.. hope it helps
