Need some help installing software on VPS

    Hello,

    I am new to VPS. I have never used VPS before but I want to use it. I want to run a software on VPS. Is it possible to do it? Basically, I want to run a .exe file on VPS, so how should I do it? I have one VPS provider but he provides VPS with linux.

    So, can anyone help me install the .exe on Linux VPS. Any tutorial or any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello there,

    You can use something like Wine or Cygwin to emulate a Windows environment, really not to sure on how well the perform though. You may also find similar software to run on a Linux machine, as there are a lot of software packages out there that mimic what the Windows version does. Your best option would be to get a Windows VPS if you want to run windows based programs on it.
