Need Some Help/Info on Redirect Ad Issues

Discussion in 'Pay Per Click Advertising' started by boxing_fan, Jun 28, 2015.

Lately we've experienced a huge increase of ads redirecting users to Uber and App stores.

    This only happens on Mobile.

I'm using the following networks (casale/index exchange, valueclick/conversant, contextweb/pulsepoint and adsense.

Not sure which of the four is the culprit but driving my users crazy.

Has anyone recently experienced this issue with any of the four networks above? please advise as mobile adware/redirects is very difficult to track down.

Get 4 blank html pages named say 1.html,2 3,4 ect,put the various network ads on each, load up to your server and one by one look at them through a mobile.
You should be able to find the culprit after a few hits on each page.

From what I can tell it was contextweb/pulse point. Once their ads were removed the mobile redirects went away.

What kind of placements did you notice this on? Mobile Web? Mobile App? or Non-mobile optimized Desktop Display (728x90 etc)?

It was non-mobile ads hitting mobile users

I have the same problem. Pulsepoint is the culprit. (redirecting pages on mobile views only in mobile optimized website (not mobile app)).
