    Hello there.

    I have a website (www.chetos.es) , as you can notice it's a ... video streaming website.

Well, the entire website it's made by just one index.php, and so, every page is almost equal, excepto for the title, video file and so (given by the current playing video).

The problem is that, when I google search for one of my video names, it always shows one "page" page (lol) like www.chetos.es/css/page/2/ (for example), as the video name is on the playlist in the right.

Also, as the playlist is always there, even when playing a video, most of the time if you google search for a video name, it links to the another video page, because all video names are in the playlist.

I don't know if I explained it well but... what do you think I should do?

    EDIT: Examples -

    http://www.google.es/search?hl=es&c...l&hs=mZz&q=Marlin+the+movie&btnG=Buscar&meta=

I am looking for "Marlin the movie" , but actually the link to my website is to "HoltzmaN The Movie" , "Marlin the Movie" only appeared in the playlist.

Can I set the text in the playlist for not being indexed by google, for example?

google indexes pages, not files or links to external files.

if you have only 1 page, only that page will be referenced

if you dont want google not to index a part of your site, you can block it with your robots.txt file

You need to edit the tags for each individual page this should be done atomically when you up load your video through your admin area. Before upload a video make sure the name of the file is the way you want it to be searched.

    Good luck

    Wow , I think I didn't explain well.

If you visit the website www.chetos.es and try to watch some videos you will get it.

While playing each video, it has its own keywords, title, and so, but the problem is that, as while playing a video, the playlist is also shown, sometimes while looking for a video X, you end up in google linking to video Y (because it has the X name in the playlist, displayed in Y).

Do you know what I mean? I don't want to... appear first in google or something, I just want google to link to the correct video page, and not to another video page, just because it founds the name of the other video in the playlist.

    Hope you understand it now.

    Thanks

    EEEEhm... connection...

I have 15 videos in a page. Each video name is in the playlist, with a link to it's correspondent URL.

While playing a video, the playlist, with the name/link of the 14 other videos, and its own name also appear.

Sometimes, while looking for a video name in google it links to the page of another video (I guess because it appears in the playlist).

    That's all .

    Hope you understand it now-

    Hi,

    If I understand correctly than:
Google links to your play list as a page and shows the overall page. This is OK and it cannot be changed.

If, when searching through Google, it links to a video and when clicking on it, it shows another video, than most probably your play list algorithm, if I may call it that way, is most probably dubious (in the case you are using some script - php, JavaScript). If you are not using any script and have a clean HTML play list page with links and Google points to wrong video your page code will have to be revised.

    Regards
