    Try adding
    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html .htm
    Code (markup):
    at the top of your .htaccess file and *remove* the AddHandler lines. See if that works.

    Fryman, did you say that it worked with .html files, (the homepage) but not with .htm files?

    I'm having the exact same issue, except it won't show the ads on ANY page. Just the code...my whole site is pure php so I don't understand why it won't parse.

    Don't worry about it Jester. Fryman's just irritated that it's not fixed on his site yet. He's been trying to get this fixed for awhile today.

    Wish I could help ya Fryman... I did see that Shawn just got back on though, so maybe you'll get some help soon.

    Oh, well... things just can't get any worse... DNS finished propagating on another site of mine, and it is now showing an internal server error...

    I just want to throw the computer out the window...

    Being cgi, I don't think you can have php code there, only SSI to 'do server-side processing'.

    <?php
    ini_set ("include_path", ini_get ("include_path") . ':../:../../:../../../:../../../../');
    include ('ad_network_324.php');
    echo '<br><DIV align=center><font size="1">';
    echo $ad_network;
    echo '</DIV></font>';
    ?>

    Oh, I see. You're trying to add that ad network. I've never tried this ad network (Hince I never saw this thread before the PM!). You might want to post over on MrRats boards asking if you can have php code in the template, and if you can, shrink the item page URLs!!! (There's a mod out that does all that.)

    I read the thread about the mod, but it says that I need to name it sis.mod or something like that and put it in my mods folder... but I don't have a mods folder

    Look at the very top of the cgi-bin/computer.cgi file.

    You'll see something like

    # version 4.041003

    What do you get there?

    Something tells me you got a very old version! Those URLs look like my original mod_rewrite hack URLs!!!

    Will upgrading help with anything? What will happen with my current indexed pages? will it change anything? Thousands of pages indexed and well ranked, don't want to loose them

    MrRat has a compatibility.mod file that'll redirect URLs to the new URLs.

    Just for an idea of the version date, that mod_rewrite code that you got is my ORIGINAL one!!!!! That version date is one month after I struck gold with the program!!!!

    To see the mod_rewrite URLs of the current verison, look at http://www.cmgscc.com/savings.shtml

    (With out the random content and XML stuff.)

    Check your PM... ;)

    BTW, I've read that the coop doesn't like redirects, won't redirecting the pages stop me from validating?

    They use different scripts, the correct one would be
    http://www.cheap-camera.com/cgi-bin/camera.cgi

    Which is the one giving me a internal server error
