Need some help from an admin re: Recent Blog Post option

If an admin could please pm me, or if anyone knows a fix, I need some help with the "show blog post" option in the control panel.

It refuses to keep the url that I enter. I put it in, hit save, come back and it's gone. No recent blog post shows under my name anymore. It used to work fine, but for months no one has been able to fix it for me. On a side note, it also won't save my Adsense ID or Channel on the options page. Not sure what needs to be done to correct this issue. Thanks.
