need some help for creating papaer fold effect

hi all,
i am learning photoshop . i need some help from you all to recreate this paper fold effect.
i want to know how the shadow and the bend on the top white layer is created.

Pen tool might works that out. Basically, if you are familiar enough with the tools, you can think of your very own ways to achieve certain result.
