    Hello,

I would like to improve some of my info products and make it video tutorials.
I want the videos to be:
    -high quality
    -16:9
-mix of live video and screen capture
    - Win and Mac compatible
    - add some clickable links on the screen
    - autoplay (no player needed to be downloaded by user)

    so, my questions are:
    1. which camcorder I need? HD? Sony?
    2. how to capture live video? record on camcorder HDD or flash dist and transfer to PC? use FireWire/USB and capture using Camtasia?
    3. do I need external mic or the camcorder mic will be OK?
    4. what is the best way to edit videos and screen captures?
    5. which resolution I need to use for video and screen capture?
    6. can I wrap a DVD to be playable by PC+Mac+home DVD player?
    7. how do I setup a small "studio" at my office for live videos?

any help will be appreciated and helpfull,
    Thanks alot
    Kobi

    Kobi,

If you decide to have this done by someone instead of buying all the equipment yourself, let me know. My video production company does plenty of exactly these videos. We film in HD 16:9, add professional voiceover, and can use professional screen recording software as well.

Check out sample work at www.vividedgemedia.com
