Need some help about wordpress

    dear i have installed word press on a blog... But it acts means it's default page open in the site URL/word press .. ........... If i open site URL then it gives error.... Tell me about my mistake or forget step while installing on my site

    Your .htaccess file is not working properly. Check the configuration or upload a default .htaccess file.

    First of all, I didn't understand exactly what you want to say because of you grammer. What I understood is you have installed your blog on domain.com/wordpress but you want it to be at domain.com am I right?

    It could be related to your WP config file and .htaccess settings.

    just check whether you hasve installed the wordpress in your domain root directory or you have intalled it in wordpress folder within your root directory....that's it is working when you type URL\wordpress but not working when you press only url.....
