Hiya all, I got few questions and it will be great if i could get some answers I got 3 websites which i did some basic SEO I wanna know the next: How can i check if my website on google? How can i check the rank of my website under XXX word? How long it takes to appear on google? And if someone got some nice 2 cent about SEO for me - will be nice. Thanks.
Try using the site:www.domain.com command on Google. This will tell you if Google has indexed your pages. You could also try uploading a sitemap to Google webmaster tools. This will give you more information about indexed pages. To check your rank, you can either do it manually or there are many websites with scripts that will check your exact rank for you. It should be pretty easy to find such a page. You can appear on Google quite quickly...but I'm not sure exactly how long. It would depend on whether you have many quality backlinks or not. To get indexed on Google faster and get better rankings, you would be continually working at getting more quality backlinks. Also try to keep adding unique content to your website.
you can use sheerseo.com to check your postion for the keywords you're targeting. and try seodigger.com to see how you're ranking for other search terms and backlinkwatch.com will show you the anchor text in your backlinks
if you want your site to get indexed quickly you can just get a back link from a page that gets cached often such as digg or a forum and it will it get indexed
