Need some exposure

I'm looking to spend around 65 dollars to get some sort of exposure for my forums. I have already done paid posting services.

I need some sort of advertising.

something where i can just pay a one time fee rather than worrying about paying some kind of monthly fee for pay per click or something.

If i were going to pay a monthly fee i'd rather pay a modest amount.

    any suggestions?

To kick start a forum is really hard to do.

But try to do some contest in your forum. Also revenue sharing like what we have here in DP(if this is a webmaster forum). I saw few forums that was been successful with these promotion or advertising.

I started a forum in Aug 2005 and now have it at pr3 and ranked in several engines. 4000 members and 10000 posts. I now find it is competing against my main sites for certain keywords. Run it with your site, send out newsletters to your mailing list informing them of the forum, add a link on all your emails and above all be lucky.

I found the mod for VBulletin 3.5.4, but no version for 3.6.4
I understand that there have been some problems running it on 3.6.4.

Is the revenue sharing mod the only suggestion?

So I'm pretty much good with the revenue sharing mod?

I don't need to pay for advertising like i suggested with the one time fee in the initial post?
