    I Need some Dreamweaver Help..

    I need someone to help me out with something.

    I have a series of pages attached to my forum. They begin at www.lincolnvscadillac.com/tech

    I need a new DW template for these pages. I am not knowlegale enough about DW templates to construct one. When I built these pages sometime ago I didnt use a template, so I need to go back and remake the pages

    I dont need a complicated design, I just need a simple but decent design.

    Can anyone help me out?

    It's pretty easy to do. Just do a save as to one of your pages and save as a dreamweaver template. Then just highlight the editable areas and right click->templates->new editable region.

    That's all there is to it.

    Alternatively, you can just go in and comment with the following tags around your editable areas:

    <!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="test" -->
    <!-- TemplateEndEditable -->

    Each region needs a unique name.

    Joey,

    What a cool response from FF. Greenie from me for that for sure. But, Like NevetS said, really it is not that hard to make your own template. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.

    Do you not have the tut that comes with the DW package?

    I've spent several hours trying to get what I want and at this point its a bad use of my time to keep trying. I have attempted several times and each time has turned out to be a waste of time.

    All I want is someone who knows dreamweaver to help me design a single, simple, dreamweaver template.

    (thanks FF - Might just take you up on that)

    I don't mind helping - if you haven't found anyone. If its jsut based on whats there then its fairly easy. I use DW templates a lot, all bar the Viral Acutions sites below are DW templated.
