Need some category structure advice

I've already decided that I'm going to keep a minimum number of categories, choosing only one per post. I have a News category, a Reviews one, et cetera. (Just to note, I plan to make my permalinks myname.com/category-name/post-title.)

And then there's the Articles category. I'm trying to decide between:
    • Having a category titled "Articles" that I put them into - nice and simple, the disadvantage being it wouldn't do much for search engines (since the word isn't very descriptive) and it would be harder for people to find specific types of articles. Though, I suppose they could find them with tags, which I plan to use.
    • Having four or five more specific top-level categories for articles to go in - disadvantage being that you couldn't view all articles at once.
    • Having a main category titled "Articles," with four or five sub-categories. People could view all articles at the same time, and anything that didn't quite fit elsewhere could go in the main Articles category. It would make the url longer, though - something like myname.com/articles/subcategory-name/post-title.
I'm really not sure which one would be best to do for it. I suppose it doesn't matter that much, but as it'd be nearly impossible to do it later (without messing up all the post urls, anyway), I'd like to get it right before opening the blog.
