I quit my job and want to do freelance programming now. I worked using HTML, vb.net and oracle. But I dont have any knowledge of domain and hosting. So to make a complete working website(with database connection) other than above 3 skills what I have to learn (cheapest option as I know Microsoft technologies are not free to use))
Are you going to buy your own hosting package to host your website? If so, I suggest going the .php route as PHP hosting is cheaper. Learn PHP and MySQL and you can make a full data-driven website. Rgds
