You Can sell anything you wish! And it is your Job, to find the niche. If we were to find out, we would do it ourselves...So, Just one word for you....Research!
Make it easier on yourself...if you want to be an affiliate, choose only the products that pay out at least 10%. Maybe 15%. Then sell EVERYTHING at that level. Forget the low crap, like computers, electronics, food, clothes.... Go for medicine, prescriptions, ringtones....
I would agree. Try being an affiliate for a different types of products. That will help you identify what is working and what you find easier to rep. Good luck.
In addition to DigitalPoint, go to abestweb.com. The owner has many of the companies you need to sign up for. CJ, LinkShare, Shareasale... Well, I think he still has them all, anyway. I haven't been there in awhile. I think between his site and DP, you will get them all. Do keyword searches for more such companies, and or indivduals who are looking for affiliates. Start a thread on message boards asking others for all the ones out there, whether it has been successful for them, or not. Get them all! Do searches on such terms as: medicine affiliates, prescription affiliates, high pay out affiliates.... Do a slew of different variations. Don't forget private individuals who have their own product to sale. For me, as an example...I haven't started it yet, but I would pay, I think, 40% for each e-book they sold for me. Look for them. Again, do the keyword searches. Then bring out pad and pen to write down all the Websites that have high commish products you can sell. Once you have that list, start sending out e-mails to them to sign up. Keep a journal, record, of all your activities to keep your head straight: 1. A list of all you have signed up for. Then put a comment section under each one: 2. How well are they paying you? 3. How well are they replying back to your e-mails? 3. How many of your visitors are actually buying each product? 4. Weed out any product that doesn't give you X amount of sales each month. On and on. A good journal, record, will help you keep your thoughts straight, keep the headaches and confusion away, which in turn helps you make the money faster. As for making 1,000 orders daily. Wow. Man, you sure have a goal! It can be done, of course. But you know the conversion rate, right? Just do the math on how many visitors you would have to get to get that many orders. A LOT! If it were me, I'd use that as a long-term goal, and then have a short-term goal of, say, $300 a week, within the next 90 days of hard work after the sites are up and running with all the products. (Unless you have the ad money and or expertise to make more than that within that period.) Then double it. Then triple it. Then quadruple it.... That's how super affiliates have done it. Same antique objests are go well. However you must know something of an antique business. And you'll never get 1000 orders daily with this. I think, you should try to sell something cheaper or the very necessaries of life to get 1000 sales daily.
