Use the home page as something to explain what the site is for. Right now I have no idea. I'm not a fan of empty space at all. You have a good amount of space for a banner on the top. At least move your stuff up. Get some rollovers on your links. It looks better, it helps the visitor, all that kind of stuff. Links naturally have rollovers for a reason.
Here are some suggestions: * Reduce the emphasis on the 'Network Sites' * Move the 'Friends' list to the bottom, and put up you MAIN content and forms in that area (I had to spend a little time figuring out what to do) Other than that, the site is great! I LOVE the network of sites you have. I have bookmarked this site, seems like a very useful bunch of tools grouped into one easy-to-access place. I really like the concept
I agree with waffles. I have no idea what this site is. If I had run across it organically, I would leave for this reason. I like the network link colors. Ty
If possible put your friends list somewhere at bottom left and in place of friends list add some image to attract more visitors... other things looks ok.. and yeah one thng missin try to add alt tags on top banner, it might help for search engine rankings
Thanks guys for your advices. I will move down the friends list to the bottom and put the description of services in this place. I'm considering building a home page that will describie all services. In that way I will move file hosting from the main domain www.shareinside.net to the subdomain.
I like the site but I agree with the other folks that it could use a bit more explanation of what it's for. I figured it out quickly because it's easy to read but I'm not sure other people would take the time. Also, I'd add some links but what if I don't own the link I'm suggesting? Being clear on that might help. Also, some site owners may want to know how you're promoting the site and going to generate traffic for you before they add a link to their page. Not intended criticism, just some thoughts I had as I looked it over. You've done well making something useful and straight-forward, though!
