Need some advice

hi,
i have this domain name - vdo18.com, i have a lot of ideas for this domain, but i am not sure whats the best thing to do with it. i was hoping for some advice from experienced webmasters here... any advice is appreciated.

 

I assumed that before you bought the domain you already have an idea on what kind of content it will carry, right? Coz if none, you shouldn't have bought that.

Now, it's more better if you ask "what do people first think when they hear or see 'vdo18'?" Then you can start from there.

My honest opinion is that it sounds like an adult site. For some reason 'vdo' sounds like a shortened 'video' word and the number '18' refers to legal age. Lol *just my honest opinion anyway*

 

why not list a few of your ideas and maybe get feedback on that. I am not sure if that domain name could be the holy grail for you, but some stuff may work here...

 

You can start from the things you love most and is still related with the domain name.

 

i think you must upload some videos which are ok for peoples of 18 year to view. because domain is saying this message also.

Based on the domain keyword,i would suggest you do a directory of general niche.

I might be single track minded, but that's the first thing to come up!

 

The starting place I think would be to ask yourself these questions. Why did I bought this domain name? Assuming it's video related, What video interest me? who will be interested in my kind of video? ? Where and how can I reach these people? From these logical questions and answers you could come up with lucrative ideas to monitize your domain name.

 

Honestly, at first glance, sounds like a teen type of site.

But that's just my 2 cents.
