Need some advice on what works better...

Okay so I have 10 blogs on a niche I'm promoting...

I have a landing page that compares similar products in that niche..

What I've been doing is on those blogs I direct link by banners to the merchants landing page...

Would it be better to create banners and link to my landing page instead? Or would direct linking from my blogs work better?

I've been direct linking for awhile now and it works, I convert but it takes a lot of traffic to convert... 700 clicks = 4-5 sales.

Sending traffic from adwords to my landing page 100 clicks = 3-4 sales...

What do you think is better? Direct linking on the blogs to the merchants page or sending that traffic to my landing page first??

    Thanks for your advice,

100 clicks from Adwords and 3-4 for sales is good, actually :) You can try to increase your budget and see how it goes. Try to improve your CTR to lower CPC, and minimize Adwords costs, while you earn the same or even more.

Sending from a blog to a landing page can mean a loss of visitors. You just have to test that.
If you get such a nice conversion rate on AdWords (3%-4%) and you're profitable on that method, try using blackman's advice and raise your budget or lower your CPC to get more clicks on the same budget.
    Good luck,

If he said it is bad it means that the he does not earn enough money on each sale.
may be this is the catch

I know it's good for my landing page, but I'm talking about the traffic I get off my blogs. What should I do about that. I probably get 500-600 clicks off banners a day from my blogs, but right now they're direct linking to the merchants landing page.

I also have a landing page setup I use for adwords. Would it be better to send my BLOG traffic to my landing page instead of direct linking to the merchants landing page? Do you see what I mean?

Adwords I would love to increase my traffic, but adwords is being a pain and i can barley get 50 clicks a day now, since my main keyword is now trademark and the adwords slap... but sales are still strong from my blogs.

    I got something for you

    - Pick 5 of your 10 blogs and send their traffic to your landing page

    - Freeze your PPC campaigns for a week or even two

    - Add tracking id's for your landing page . So you will know where the sales are coming from

-After a week . Check your stats . If you get more sales from sending buyers to your landing page , send more traffic to it .

    - I know its risky but trust me , if you do not try , how do you suppose to know what works and what doesn't work .

When you send people directly to the merchant site , you are not getting anything from it . What happen if they don't buy the product . or What happen if they don't like the merchant page ?

Be smart , make a squeeze page get their emails , so you will be able to sale them anything in the future . You lose one sale you get double later .

With CB you have to test , so keep testing my friend and let us know how things are

You can be sure that the serious clickbank vendors will have higher conerting pages that you because of the amount of split testing that goes on...

However, with your own landing page you can capture that email and put the lead on a newsletter, even if you are getting less sales the value of that lead in the long term has up a lot just by creating a landing page that offers a newsletter.
