I am making some video tutorials to teach people how to install my software. I've never made any videos for the net before so I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers. What size the videos should be, what format to save it in, etc. I am using camstudio to do my videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
It depends on will they be playing like a html file witch camtasia studio creates or are you going to upload it to video sites
I am not so good at videos either, but i know that your video should not be too long. Mind reading this article. Think it would help you out on the basics http://ezinearticles.com/?3-Important-Tips-to-Help-You-Make-Good-Videos-That-Your-Viewers-Will-Enjoy-Watching&id=2083779
i would use some default camtasia settings. do not upload it onto sites like youtube (that use flash) unless you dont mind the quality going WAY down though you do get some good marketing exposure
i suggest that you use a screen recording software, then you just need install your software in your computer, meantime, you open a word file to put notes during installation.then the recording software will export a video file to show the whole process.i tried this before to teach my friend list ebay items.easy to find a lot of such software in google search
